    • A: Yes, for all new colour clients or if you're thinking about a big change (like extensions or a colour correction), it’s very helpful to book a consultation. It’s a 15-minute chat where we can discuss your hair goals, assess your hair's condition, and make a plan. It's so important for us to make sure we're on the same page and can safely achieve the look you want. Our staff will always give you a consultation before beginning a service but booking one in for a larger or a more complex service on a different day is a comfort to both and allows for a more comprehensive understanding.

    • Q: Do I need a patch test?

    A: Yes. Your safety and comfort are our top priorities. An allergy alert test (patch test) is required at least 48 hours before any new colour service. This applies to all new colour clients, even if you've had colour at other salons. You can just pop in for text goes herethis—no appointment needed, it only takes a minute!

    • Q: What is your cancellation policy?

    • A: We completely understand that life happens! We just kindly ask for at least 48 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. This allows us time to offer the appointment to another client. Cancellations made with less than 48 hours' notice, or no-shows, may incur a cancellation fee.

    • Q: What is 'Balayage' and how is it different from 'Highlights'?

    • A: Great question! Highlights (like a full or half head) are traditionally applied from the root to create a more defined, uniform lightness. Balayage is a freehand painting technique where we apply lightener more softly, focusing on the mid-lengths and ends. This creates a more natural, "sun-kissed" look that grows out beautifully with less of a harsh root line. We can chat about which is best for you during your consultation.

    • A: We are passionate about hair health! We offer a range of treatments and will always recommend what's best for your hair's specific needs. These include:

    • Kerastase Fusio-Dose: A fast, instant treatment at the sink.

    • Metal Detox: Perfect before a colour service to prevent breakage and ensure a truer-to-tone result.

    • Kerastase Première: A deeper treatment to repair damage and remove calcium build-up.

    • Malibu Cleanses: Ideal for removing hard water build-up (a must in Dublin!) or chlorine for swimmers.

    • Q: I'm nervous about changing my hair. Can you help?

    • A: Absolutely. It is completely normal to feel nervous about a change! We want you to feel 100% comfortable. We will always start with a thorough chat to listen to your ideas and concerns. We'll give you our honest, professional advice and will never pressure you into a style you're unsure about. Our goal is for you to leave feeling confident and loving your hair. You can also book in a consultation beforehand (for no charge) just to have a chat with one of our stylists to put you mind at ease and so you know what to expect.

    • A: We use Hair Talk tape extensions. We've chosen this brand because the quality of the hair is exceptional and the tape-in method is very gentle on your natural hair, which is always our top priority.

    • A: There is on-street 'Pay and Display' parking available on our street and the surrounding roads. As it's Dublin 4, it can be busy, so we recommend allowing a few extra minutes to find a space before your appointment.
